Is it cold where you’re at? Because it’s cold in the A and my skin is parched. Living in the south and basking in the glory of warm temperatures for the majority of the year has me spoiled. A girl (points to self) doesn’t even know how to act during the winter lol.

Here are three products that have been in heavy rotation for me all winter that are definitely getting the job done!

1. Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture: $65

This cream is heavy and very moisturizing. Like I’ve said before, I have combination/oily skin, so I apply this cream at night and also when I travel by plane. I try not to wear makeup on the plane, so I slather this on and let it penetrate into my skin adding moisture that the air circulation in the plane takes away.

Some of the key ingredients are Avocado, Sunflower and Olive fruit oils which enhance the skins ability to retain maximum levels of hydration for up to eight hours. My only gripe … it doesn’t have sunscreen in it (which is why i use it at night).

**Tip: use the spatula to scoop out the cream to prevent any bacteria from growing in the jar. Gross, I know.

2. Murad Soothing Skin and Lip Care Balm: $20

Thank the sweet heavens for this stuff! I am an avid user of chap-sticks, balms, you name it. I always have it on me! This lip balm is thick and has saved my lips many a times from becoming chapped and cracked (not cute). Not only do I use this balm during the day, I also apply it very generously every night before I go to bed so I can wake up with smooth, hydrated lips. It works and I would definitely recommend this during the winter.

3. Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve: $15 (2.5 fl oz.), $22 (5.0 fl oz. -pictured)

Another prized possession I carry with me at all times, is hand lotion. I switch it up seasonally because obviously during the summer you would use something a little lighter and visa versa for colder months. I use this lotion on my hands and feet before bed topped with a thick pair of socks, while giving myself a pedicure, or simply when my hands are just feeling extra dry. It’s very thick and very moisturizing!

What are some of your winter must-haves that keep your skin hydrated?
