While out on the town this weekend, I wanted to give my Impress nails (press-on manicure) a try! I got samples of the nails back in January, and did a previous post on them here in December while watching the live blogger tutorial.

In the picture above, you can see that I decided to polish over the design and make them black. I did this because I didn’t care for the sample design sent to me. It was similar to a regular french manicure and had a silver flower on it (it just wasn’t my style).

Anyway the nails come in a cute plastic nail polish bottle in whatever design you choose. They are just like press-on nails with a sticky adhesive on the back of the nail that you can peel off and stick to your nail bed.

PROS:

-These are great for when you are pressed for time but still want to jazz up your nails.
-No drying time and lasts up to a week.
-I love the selection of designs you can pick from. (Click here).
-They are very sturdy! No worries about them popping off in public lol
-You can use the leftover nails as accent nails if you just want to apply one on your ring finger and polish the rest of your nails yourself 🙂

CONS:

Because I polished over the design, my polish chipped the night of really bad, as you can see below. (But that’s my fault because they weren’t designed for that lol).
-Matching up the nails to my actual nail bed was a little challenging. Some nails were bigger than others and didn’t fit my nails that great, so I had to do my best with matching them up.

**I wore my Impress nails just for the night and removed them by applying nail polish remover around the edges and slowly peeling them off of my nail.

Impress Nails are available for purchase at stores like CVS, Walgreens, Kmart, H-E-B, Right Aid, and Walmart and retail at $5.99-$7.99 each.

Have you tried Impress Nails yet? How was your experience?
