You guys may or may not already know that I am a complete interior design enthusiast. Personally, my style is eclectic glam with a vintage touch. I post my favorite home interior inspirations on my Instagram and Pinterest page very frequently.
So naturally I was really excited when luxury furniture brand, ARHAUS , contacted me to collaborate with them on my dream living room space. Funny thing is, the whole inspiration for my own place started with the very sofa I purchased from ARHAUS about 2 years ago: the Van Gogh specifically. I LOVE my sofa. Remember when I first talked about it in this post?
When first thinking of design ideas for my house, I knew I wanted the focal point of my space to be centered around a statement sofa. So I went for the bold choice and chose an indigo blue sofa with brass nailheads to compliment all the accent gold pieces in my space.
Now back to this DREAM living room situation. I envision my future home having high ceilings with a breathtaking chandelier to compliment the natural lighting during the day and create a soft mood at night. I see my space being stylish yet comfortable and set up to entertain my girlfriends and family on the weekends.
I gathered a few ideas from some inspiration photos from my Interior Dreams Pinterest board:
Once I had my inspiration, I headed to the ARHAUS site and selected various pieces that would work to recreate some of the concepts from the rooms above. Here’s what I came up with using all pieces selected from ARHAUS:
All I need now is to beef up my art collection! Decorating your place can be so much fun when you’re organized and stick to a theme to make it easier for yourself. If an unexpected style that keeps catching your eye surprises you, then go with it. Try not to limit yourself or where you buy your pieces. It’s ok to mix and match with high and low pieces from stores like Homegoods, TJMaxx, Ikea, or even your local salvation or thrift store.
What do you think about my dream living room? What luxury furniture stores or pieces are on your wish list?
