Don’t sleep on Milani Cosmetics! I’ve tried their nail polish and lipgloss so far and haven’t been let down yet. This time, I decided to give their baked blush a whirl!

Introducing Milani Baked Blush in “Luminoso”

Here is the description from the Milani website:

A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.

The compact also comes with a small blush brush that’s hiding under the actual blush. I recommend using a full size blush brush with soft bristles to give you the best application.

But wait …. how much did I pay for this? A cool $8 !! #Winning

Here’s what it looks like on me. I think it’s a close comparison to NARS “Orgasm” (my fav blush) but minus the bronzer mixed in. (You can just cheat and apply a little bit of bronzer over the blush and there ya go!). It’s a great summer shade and has a nice pink/peach pigment with a little shimmer. I’m not a huge fan of blushes with a lot of shimmer or glitter in it, but this one still looks flattering.

Second look…

Overall, Milani Baked Blush gets a thumbs up from me! I will definitely be trying out more of their shades. For more color selections, you can visit their site here
