OK, So I’ve been testing out a lot of different moisturizers lately just to see what other products work for my skin ( I have sensitive skin that is combination/oily on my t-zone). I bought the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream about a month ago and I really think the packaging sold me lol. I’m not the best with drinking 8 glasses of water a day, so I thought this product would be helpful (to contribute toward my future clear skin). Anyway here’s my review:
Product Description:
-Locks in moisture for 24 hours
-Blocks out dryness
-100% oil free
-Grape water extract: Antioxidant power defends skin from external aggressors
-Vitamin E: Soothes and conditions skin
This “cream” is more like a gel…actually it’s just like a gel. I use it while my face is a little damp after I get out the shower and massage it into my skin like I would any other moisturizer. It feels very smooth, cool and lightweight which is refreshing, and I think it’s best to use this product during the day. Because I bought it in the winter, I would suggest switching to this product for the spring & summer as a lighter alternative in your daily moisturizer. Using a heavier moisturizer at night is still a good idea just so your skin can fully recover throughout the night.
My only NEGATIVE about this product is that it doesn’t contain sunscreen. I’m a sunscreen advocate when it comes to my moisturizer (at least SPF 15) and you should be too 🙂 Overall I think this is a wise purchase, it’s lasted me a month now and I’m still not halfway through the jar…definitely perfect for spring & summer 🙂
**It’s about $8 at drugstores**
*Best for normal, combo, & oily skin types
