Hey McKenzie, im having a lot of issues with keeping my coil/curls defined and soft because i have very thick strands/ coarse hair, can you recommend any products (any price range)… Also can you recommend any department store concealers other than mac that last long and doesn't crease easily? thank you! Hi 🙂 The 3 products that have been in heavy rotation for me to define my curls are Mixed Chicks Leave-in Conditioner (used when I two-strand twist), Twisted Sista Curl Activator Cream (like $4 at Walmart), and African Pride Shea Butter Miracle Bouncy Curls Pudding (also used when I two-strand twist). Try those out and don’t touch your hair too much after you’ve styled it!

As far as concealer, some that I like are Cle De Peau concealer stick (it only comes in 4 shades though :/ ), Cover FX Concealer in Deep, and Revlon Photo Ready concealer stick. You should try setting your concealer with a translucent powder to prevent it from creasing. Hope this helps!
